Ya'll may remember that my dad and I were looking for a small jon boat or just something cheap and easy to fish in the creeks. Well lazy butt finally got around to posting pics.
Its a 1987 Mckee Craft 14 CC Fisher w/ bimini top and 1988 40 hp Evinrude. The first couple pix is before we bottom painted and the last ones are after.
So far I've been out on it 3 or 4 times on the lake. My dad and brother in law have been out on it twice. We still haven't burned 6 gallons ;D

Thanks RB LOL as log as I'm on it you can borrow it all you want! * ;D *Man I am SOOOOO glad we didn't get a jon boat and Skools if you are looking thank the Lord we didn't get that raggedy looking skiff that "Danny" was selling *::) *Dad said be patient, the boat will come to us and it sure did. *It was hard to tell at first trying to look through the piled up leaves and dirt but after 3 guys spent 3 hours cleaning and waxing she looks outta site! *And solid too. *The only thing I have to do is outfit it with some rod holders and fill some old screw holes in the deck. *I might tackle that this Friday if it isn't raining. I got bottom paint for FREE from a buddy who painted the bottom of his Grady and had leftovers.

Hey Dawg...looks like ya found a diamond in the rough 8)...sounds like a REEL fuel-sipper ;)...
Nice find! *;D I had a 17ft Montauk (Whaler) growing up, real fun boat and handles water better then you'd think. Wish I never got rid of it, I need something like that to fish the flats in the spring.. :P

I have always liked those little boats.
I strongly believe in a 2 boat minimum.........max, 10.

THANK YOU ALL! I look forward to some skinny water fishing in the Mckee and maybe some flattie stabbin in the near future....but right now I'm plotting my next move on winning this fishing tournament. Trying to figure out where to go. Its between 2 places and depending on which place will decide which fish to target. I stand a good chance at getting 50% or better so don't even bother weighing those little uns boyz. :-* :P ;D
