I was thinking of trying for stripers tomorrow outta' Lewes. Is the ramp just a launch fee or do I have to have the DE sticker? (Hate to spend $35 or more to use it once...) Think it'll be doable tomorrow in a 21' boat? NOAA says 1-2' and I think with the Hi coming in it should be sitting on us all day. They should be pretty close.

Thanks for any help.

The Lewes ramp is free.
No De stamp or license needed until next year.
Good luck with the Stripers,
I here they are running in the bay.
I've also heard of Blues in the bay as well.

Oh yeah, watch out for that Lewes policeman,
he is known to give tickets to people just for
looking like a criminal. ;) ;) ;D

Nope. It was tempting, but from the reports it didn't sound that great on the Del. Bay. I did the suicide-run down to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel (yup, the one wwaaaayyyy down there). We had a tough day, but dad did manage to catch his biggest ever, at 34 1/2".
