Well, is it snowing? Where's da pics and video? We want to see how the other half lives! I've been wearing short sleeves to work every day. Yesterday evening I sported shorts and flip flops while I worked on some board and batting I am doing to the back of my house. Supposed to cool down this weekend though.

No snow yet, but it is to start anytime now!!
My daughter is worried, she had her first winter driving last year and we had almost no snow, so this is going to be her first for driving!
She gets out of work right in ther thick of things, She has Front wheel drive and all new tires, i said you be fine if not call me, but that means no work for you tomorrow cause I am working tonight and if all goes well I will be home like 9am
But I am emergency personal so I can be helded if there is no power or people can't get to work.

I bought a heavy canvas winter cover last year from our very good friend "lumberslinger". It was formally the cover that came w/ his boat , a dually. My boat is a cuddy but we were both certain that if it wasn't a perfect fit , it would be close. I finally put it on yesterday ready for the "big storm" and its a perfect fit. Well, now I've got about 2 1/2 inches of HEAVY wet snow and sleet covering and all is well. Long Islands first winter "storm" has changed from snow to sleet to rain and it's just about over....in other words, a bust. Funny, in the spring, summer and fall it's called rain....the winter months it's always referred to as THE STORM, ARCTIC BLAST, WINTERS WALLOP etc. etc. I guess it sells papers :-/

Pretty much a done deal here. Total=12" snow plows are still pushing the stuff back into my driveway as fast as I can clean it. My snowblower blazes right through it though. I'll have to take more pics tomorrow.

Were going to have a cold front over the weekend, around 50 degrees maybe!
We only got about 4 maybe 5 inches.. It turned to sleet/frozen rain around 3ish and every thing is frozen solid today :P
