What a frustrating night. It took many tries to log in, and when I finally did and attempted to add a photo, a blank screen opened up -- nowhere to do anything. I never had so much trouble with this before. Tried adding photo and adding photos, neither opened up anything on the screen. Oh well, maybe another night.

Evidently the system isn't a "morning person" either. Still no luck.

Guys - I'm gonna need a little information.

What web browsers are you using?

IE
Firefox
Netscape
Safari

Do you have any popup blockers installed?

Personal firewalls?

We'll figure it out . . . it might take a little work.

The Gallery login window is a JavaScript popup.

AOL / IE here. ::)
Yesterday I ALMOST got a photo added. It said it had uploaded 100%, but then there was an error message, same one I got back in Jan or Feb. But back then I kept trying and eventually it went through.
When I was doing all the work last year and posted all those pics I was using the exact same service and browser, so I'm not exactly sure what, if anything, has changed. But I am computer challenged . . .
We'll get it to go through eventually.

Pipe - I think I know what is might be.

In the directory where your photos are select view, details.

Make sure that each picture is under 2mb!! I have a limit set, so that we don't fill up the diskspace for the site too quickly.

2mb is a huge picture.

There are lots of image editors that will allow you to resize the pics.

Okay, here's the latest. Tried to upload 737Kb pic, it says internal server error. So I reduced size, first to 92Kb then to 60Kb and tried to upload. Both times it showed some progress in the little "loading window" down in the corner, got about halfway through and the screen went white, absolutely nothing on it. Doesn't say "done" at the bottom, nothing. No upload. :(
Stick a fork in me, I'm done. Don't know anything else to try.

Pipe - There is a java client for the gallery called gallery remote. If you haven't pull out all your hair yet, you might want to give it a try.

http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/gallery/GalleryRemote.1.4.1.Win32.NoVM.exe?download

Also you might try with another web browser like firefox.

www.mozilla.org . . . . if you use firefox, you have to make an exception for javascript to run for www.wellcraftv20.com.

I wonder if it's AOL? I've tried 3 different computers, all of them using different versions of the AOL softward, and they all do the same screwy things:
I'll log on but the logged on (admin) window doesn't come up, or it may come up when I view a different page. If I do manage to get logged on:
I'll click on the add photo, the box opens up all white.
I'll try add photos, and when it comes up change it to 1 and the same thing happens.
If I miraculously get the add photo to load up, I'll give it the pic to upload and it'll go all the way through and then give me an error message.
It's enough to give a guy a complex! ::)

I'm looking at the sourceforge site - it asks me to pick a mirror - should I pick Internap-Atlanta (closest)? Sorry to be so dumb, but I'm not real computer literate, in case you haven't already figured that out.

Yeah Pipe . . . you can just pick the mirror closest to you.

I haven't been online for several days . . . want to try this at home, hopefully this evening. It looks like either of these sites have you download their software so you can use their browser. Once this is done does their browser come up automatically every time, or can you access it only when you want/choose to? I'd like to understand what I'm getting myself into . . . I'm risk averse when it comes to my computer.
