Unlike last week the weather man has missed it again but this time it is in our favor. We are heading ou of Owls Creek in Va. Beach tomorrow to chase down any stripers that are still swiming around our waters. I will take some pics for Hammer and try posting my first pics. So you guys have a nice day working tomorrow and I think about you V's as mine is rocking in the ocean.

Man, I wish I were going fishin tomorrow, instead I will be sitting on the highway.Well we needed the luck but did not find any. We ran up and down the beach yesterday looking for some stripers but they must have moved down south because we never even got a bite. The day was not lost because it was slick as could be and the sun was shinning bright and the boat ran like a top.

Sounds like a great day even without fish. Hope I can spend some time on the water soon.

For our area and this time of year it was a great day on the water and I should have had some Taug bait for plan B. I can't complain its the first time in two years that we have not caught our limit of stripers durn ocean season.

Just dont make a habit of the ole skunk trip.

I keep a couple of cans of Uncle Josh Pork spinnerbait trailers in the tacklebox. *The black sea bass love it, I bet tautog would too.

No last time I just assume we will catch stripers I'll def. have plan B ready to go. Not sure if Taug will eat those I have several dozen crabs left over still in freezer which they love. Hey check ou this world record this lady snaged a few days ago. It was caught on 8lb test which is the record for that pound test by about 4 pounds and this is not the only record she has. Check out photo album while your there she's not bad to look at.

I use the pork in place of squid. Doesnt come off the hook for a long time and you can carry it with you anytime.

You guys still catching striper thia time of year? I'm sure if they are gone but they where not out Wed. and the local fishing site around here the fishing reports have not been very good. The fishing reports are posted by people who have been out and post their reports on how they did and where they were catching fish.

Dr. Julie Ball is an outstanding fisherperson, easy on the eyes, and just a nice person in general. She'll go toe to toe along the gunnel with any guy who will stand there with her.

She is pretty impressive if you read the little bio they have about her and fishing. My wife can hang with us flounder fishing butif you have seen me and my buddies fish you would understand how easy that is to do.
