Did anyone take a look at how this guy stashed his bimini? Does he have 2 sets of traveling bars or are the ones in the rear solid and the ones forward are like bungees or something?......I like the look.
I suppose the other hot setupis the sliding track on the gunwale but then you get fish guts all over your nice bimini when you haul something in.
Anyone got any other hotsetups for canvas storage?

Paradis, This is the way I have my Bimini set up also, it lets you store it in the nomal back position or move it forward above the windshield so you have the whole cockpit wide open when fishing 3 or more people casting to breaking fish. In the back you need a set of adjustable tubes. In the front you use a set of solid tubes that are as long as your front strapes. You need to add four exta jaw slides to your bimini frame, West marine Pg 826 item E & two deck hinges item D to the top, side edge of your windshield or you can mount the deck hinges on flat arm rest area about 18" below top of windshield just to the inside of it. This is a change i'm doing, it will be more stable. This really works well doesn't block vision, and doesn't interfere with use of cuddy or front sliding hatches. This is very easy to do not very expensive or as complicated as it sounds, gives you a whole usable cockpit. Crusher

GOod info crusher. I have the original camper top on my V-20 still, but want to switch to a bimini and want it stored over the bow rather than the cockpit for all the reasons mentioned above. Although, my camper top slides on rails along the gunnels and stores on the transom, with a bracket I pull all my fish in over the port or starboard side so the top stored in its boot on the transom does not get mucked up. Thanks.

If I have it on my boat, it is laying down on the Bow or its up. But Like I said if I have it on there at all??
I might leave it on there if it was up like that all the time and out of the way??
I will have to talk to CB about showing me how to do it, I am not that smart with that stuff.

Mac Attack, Sorry I'don't have any pictures. I'm going to barrow a camera as soon as cover comes off and take some pictures. The hard part will be posting or maybe I can send them to someone to post for me, computer skills aren't very good. I like walking marines looking at V 20s and talking with owners if I can, have gotten a lot of good ideas from them. Crusher ???
