sailboat,
What happened? Didn't you just repower?

Nothing happened. I've owned 29 boats. Two of those have been V-20's ('69 & '79), and now a V-21. I buy boats, run them for several months and then sell them. I try to buy boats in good shape, fix them up a little, play with them and then move on to the next one. If I work everything right, I loose a little bit on each one and consider those dollars as rental money. All of us justify our boating expenses one way or the other. This approach satisfies the wife, so I stick with it.

-New canvas goes on this next week.
--LARGE bimini with curtains on front and sides.
--Dash cover.
--cover for sliding hatch on fore deck.
--Cover for seats.
--She now lives on a lift and I want her protected.
-When she is finished, I'll take some pictures and attempt to put them on the site.

Posted new pictures of bimini on Boat Trader on Line.
Tried to post on here, but don't know how.

Take a look. The canvas comes forward over the windshield and gives good sun protection. So far no trouble with wind getting up under it. 60 MPH on trailer coming home from canvas shop and wide open on the water (45MPH). It has slowed me down one MPH.

I think next project is trim tabs.

Great boat!! But let me ask a ?? Were does it get the extra foot in the V21?? Looks like it is on the tarnsom for the motor?? Looks like a V20 with a small gill bracket sticking out so you really are not gaining any more room.

Which is fine by me!! I love the gill bracket!

-You hit it on the nose (stern).
-The last few years of the V-20 they closed the stern and put an extension for the outboard motor. Same great boat and hull, just put the engine outside the boat, which added about a foot.

Just a note to let all know this great boat is still on the market. Been using it all winter to commute to work and the canvas is a winner.

Judging by the scuppers. the V-21 is sitting pretty low in the water with that F150. Pretty good info, I was looking at one of those for my V-20. Good luck.

CT - The floor on the V21 was raised about 4 inches for extra flotation (not sure what year this first changed). The thru hulls for the cockpit drains are still at the waterline, but water doesn't come in unless you have a busted hose or leaky thru-hull.

-Seakindly has it absolutely right.
-The 200 Yamaha that was on it as orginal equipment is the same weight as the Four Stroke 150.
-Never gotten any water on the cockpit floor yet, even with a couple of us back there, and I am a heavy guy.

This one is history. Sold yesterday. Name came off the sides and polished up like the letters had not been there for 13 years. Keep them inside away from the sun and they are still like new!

Yes! Yhe list is down to 5 boats right now. Three used Pursuits and two new Scouts. Be interesting to see which one wins.

The Four stroke was a Yamaha 150 and she was beautiful!! Three of the boats I'm looking at either have a 150 four stroke or would have one soon.

Sure injoyed the V-21. What a hull, thus what a ride.
