Yep. Son was gonna take the cover off and a yellow jacket nest was there.
Was gonna teach him how to change the lower unit oil. But gotta wait now.

Wait until night. They will all be in the nest. Hit it with copious amounts of Wasp and Hornet killer spray from a distance. Saturate the nest. They should all be dead by morning. Exercise caution.... long sleeve shirts, Long pants, and a hat

Still approach with caution in the morning - I’ve had more experience with those things than like to think of and it’s been very hard to kill all of them.

My son pulled the prop and greased the splines. Went to start it and click!
Ended up wire going to starter was broke at eyelet and solenoid is bad.
Trying to teach my son as much as possible about mechanical stuff. Takes alot more time but it will be worthit.

Next is to have him change oil and filter, and lower unit oil.
