Do you trailer it or are you in the water? What marina ? Go for fluke.
You fish south of Atlantic highlands. Is it good down there?

It’s seabass time ! Excellent fishing now.
I fish from Raritan Bay down to south of Manesquan depending.
Fluke still inside so ocean fishing not yet.
Stripers still around too.

Sea bass yep they are in now. A good spot is the sandy hook reef. But I love fluking and I go out of Atlanta highlands marina and I don***8217;t even have to go into the ocean.
I hav3 a good spot in the bay too for bottom fishing ( black fish, sea bass too ) maybe you will see me in the bay . Not to many wellcrafts out there anymore. I m trying to get out Sunday.

I’ve been fishing those areas about 10 years now so reasonably dialed in.
Last years biggest fluke about 7.5 lbs with fewer fish .
Fished Del Bay years back when it was good .
Don’t anymore.
Fished Long Island since about age 5 so it’s in my blood.

I like the area by the ,,,,,,,, sorry Bgreene. I can’t give my secret spot away even though everyone is there now
Dam it. Not very big fish but comfortable fishing and you do get a big one ever now and then

Ran out about 22 miles and hit the big seabass.

Formula 233 like big brother boat to the V21.
Made for the ocean .

My friend had a formula about your size too, that boat was a tank but he was a little daring. I myself play it to safe, stay close and fish in the bay. I get fluke, blues, stripers, sea bass and blackfish. Why leave the bay. I still think you’re ( sorry for saying this brother) crazy for selling that beautiful V21. Just my opinion.

And I think youre crazy - for thinking Im crazy.
Keep playing it safe if that makes you happy.
Ive never felt unsafe fishing the ocean.

As for my formula 233, it does everything my V21 did, just on bigger scale.
I can stretch fully out in the cuddy, its about 2-3 feet longer.
Its 24 degree dead rise, closed in transom, higher gunnels , more deck space, holds more fuel, and rides better in chop. It also looks great like the Vs
V20/21 terrific boats, as I well know !
Be happy with what you have, and for what other good people have .
