She ran like a dog without a leash! Ran like a mother father for a half hour. Not so much as a hiccup. Then, BOOM!!! Started acting up again. Plan on going out tomorrow. Gonna swap out the small filter element and run outside for bass. They***8217;re killing 40-50 inch bass in 10 feet of water. Snag and drop. I have yet to try out my new setup.
So what would cause her to act up after running perfectly for half an hour?!?
My wife googled it and says it***8217;s air in the fuel line.

If its sucking your fuel primer bulb shut, its ahead of the bulb(between the tank and the bulb). If it acts up again, squeeze the bulb and see if it gets better. make sure you didn't put the fuel filter screen on the engine in upside down. Take a portable fuel tank, hook it up to the primer bulb and see if it acts up

Just thinking out loud...

Would it run 30 minutes if it was a fuel vent issue?

Might be some electronic part getting hot and shutting down.

Or a wire rubbing and shorting out.

I would run a short hose without a filter of any kind to an external tank of fresh clean gasoline before I did anything else, to rule out/in any other issues.

i was thinking this, but wanted him to rule out fuel supply before sending Charlie down another rabbit hole

This should solve the issue of fuel, or not.
