Raritan Bay - one of the best for Stripers and big ones, never got skunked. Here in NY, April 1, it's Flounder, Black fish. April15, Stripers and then those yellow eyed demons show up. No Fluke until May 4, Sea Bass, not until the end of June.

I don't know what the temperature is but I do know they are doing very good striper fishing.
My son and I know a bunch of people who have a charter in that area and are doing very very good, I also know of a place where they are killing the stripers off of land and been catching them all winter but I can't tell you, my son would I'll me lol
Now is the time to go for stripers.
