Pence saying NOTHING positive should be said about Putin in any context .

A direct shot at Trumps inappropriate complements about Putin.
Republicans cheered Pence for his remarks.
Seems Pence is really sick of Trumps big mouth.

As previously stated, Vice President Pence is entitled to his opinions, just like everyone else. That does not make them right or wrong,. They are just opinions.

Trumps remarks were statements of fact. They were not inappropriate. They were simply factual. Have we reached the point when stating the truth should be looked upon as being traitorous?

But let me ask a question? Why does recognizing that someone is smart somehow make that person "evil"? As an example, Thomas Edison, the inventor, by most people's thinking was a "genius" for his inventions. Yet if you delve into his business practices we find out that he was really a monster. A tyrant. Several of "his" inventions were actually made by his employees that he took credit for. When Tesla invented AC electricity he refused to pay him for his invention, instead he tried to destroy Tesla by claiming DC was a far superior. even going so far to publicly execute an Elephant to show how dangerous AC was. Yet no one that says Edison was a genius is held up as being wrong or a traitor or evil.

Another glaring example would be during WWII. During the desert campaign in Africa Rommel was often referred to as the "Desert Fox" for his brilliant and strategic maneuvers while fighting both the British and the Americans. Yet no one that recognized his brilliance has ever been accused of anything like what detractors of President Trump have been and are doing. Why is that?

See how public opinion can be shaped by events, and more importantly by the media? Trump called Putin a genius. Never said he liked what he was doing in the Ukraine, just that how he led up to it was smart. For that the media says he is a traitor, and of course several millions of their less informed minions believe them because they are told to. They repeat the media's lies and distortions without bothering to analyze what was actually done or said.

We’re not taking “ light bulbs “ here destroyer .

When a dictator attacks a free nation killing people is not the time
for an X President of USA …..or anyone to be commenting about what a genius that dictator is.

Absolutely WRONG of trump to spout out about.

Of course, that's your opinion Greene, and you ae entitled to it. Not everyone shares it though. And my example of Rommel was hardly a "light bulb" comment. It was made by world leaders, during a world war, about one of their smartest enemies.

There's no need to remind me about what's happening in the Ukraine. In one of my other posts I said I had two families of relatives living there. One has escaped to Poland and is with relatives, we have not heard from the other for several days.
