Transom is solid, floors are solid overall, two soft spots in the deck that are about 12x12. Gas tank hatch is shot and the boat needs cosmetics.....This is the boat that I have the question about in the repair section. Damn fiberglass guy still hasn't showed to tell me if there is a tiny bit of delamination on the chine from hitting the trailer or if the stringers are shot. So.......went shopping, found a suitable boat, need to know what I might be able to salvage while being honest at the same time. Not sticking some poor guy like me with a bum hull if that is indeed the case.

I'd think you could get at least half of what you paid. I had a Trophy CC that I was trying to sell and thought it was worth the $4000 I was asking for. I hardly got any interest until I just got fed up and knocked it down to $1800 just to get rid of it. Then there were dozens of inquiries. Regardless of the condition, a "boat, motor & trailer" is marketable as a "complete" rig.

Thanks for the reply......hopefully the news won't be bad....lord knows when they will actually tell me. Maybe 2k-2500? Trailer and motor should be worth close to that anyway....well, at least I'd like to think so.

Just dont sell yourself short on the assumption that the hull is shot and the stringers are delaminated, unless you know that for a fact.
I think you should get a grinder and some epoxy and have at it! 8)
Then go fishing. ;D

Its been confirmed, no stringer damage! It is a war wound from the trailer...easily fixed.
Now for the bad part.......my son needs tubes put in his ears, our annual deductible on medical is more then I had put aside for the boat...so she's going on the block. This week has totally sucked.
So.......I will be putting her on ebay, can't afford the boat at this time....what do you think the buy it now should be? 2500? Engine compression tested fine. Needs a tune up, and the boat needs cosmetics, gas tank hatch and some marinetex on the crack.

Jeff, it was good talking to you this morning, I'll drop off the rest of the teak this weekend for you, probably on Sunday at the shop.
Again, I have no idea who the guy was, however, I do know that I won't be going back there again. Talked to two different glass guys and they said it was a fairly easy repair on the chines. Sorry about that! Call me if you need anything else!
