I listened to his speech live. Very interesting. I especially liked the part where he said that the Republicans will take back the house and the presidency in 2024. Truthfully I never liked what President Trump said/did to him. I always thought he was pretty good as a VP. I'd like to see he and Trump bury the hatchet. They were a good team. Certainly better than what we've seen from that senile old fool Biden and do nothing Harris since their rigged election.

I liked pence too but the facts are he is a politician and Trump is not. Trump says what's on his mind and always put america first . If you like or don't like what he says to bad deal with it,remember he is from ny and has always dealt with politicians his whole life, Trump is not a politician he is a American putting us first. Just listen to the answers these politicians say, they always try to please everyone , and you can't , Donald Trump says what's in his hearth and if you like it ,great if you don't oh well
I love him fir what he did girl America
What Biden is doing is for his family and the squad , not America
Closes the pipe line
Stops the border wall
A disgusting withdrawal from Afghanistan
Inflation
And I could keep going on and on
But Greene likes him and that's all that matters
Oh and yes the election was rigged

FACTS still matter in our country :
1. Trump LOST both the collegiate and popular vote by large margin .
2. Trumps voting audits confirmed this result
3. As the events of Jan 6 2021 showed, trumps a lying cheating con traitor
Your concept of trump is understandable - but the reality of the man is not

And …..it seems you just believe what trump says without fact checking the important things.
If you did youd find him WRONG quite often.
I could go on and on ….all the way back to the little things such as trump said Obama played too much golf and if he President he wouldn’t have time for golf. Well the record shows trump played WAY MORE golf as President that Obama. Trumps a great BSer

According to ALL reports, unlike Obama, President Trump used to work from very early in the morning to late (past 9PM at night 7 days a week, including while on the golf course. Actual hours worked, not smiling for cameras all the time like Obama.

That’s your OPINION …..but FACT is trump spent many more days GOLFING during his Presidency than Obama ….AND Trump claimed he wouldn’t have time for golf as President .

No, that's NOT opinion, It is a fact, well substantiated and reported on over the course of his 4 years in office.
Look, I really don't care who golfed more. It really doesn't matter. I look at results. Under Trump we had low interest, no inflation, cheap gas, less and less illegal aliens crossing our border, etc. The man got results.
Under Biden we have 7.5% inflation. That means the average family of 4 now has to spend over $200 a month more just to buy the items they did before Biden took over. And do not insult the rest of us with bulls*it that it's worldwide. It did NOT START here in America until Biden took over on his first day in office and stopped the pipeline and the building at the border.

Talk about desperate - you have to claim Trump was lying when he said he’d be too busy for much golf and found he could work and get in more golf than anticipated - you actually call that a lie? That’s one of your most infantile assertions.

You’re WRONG AGAIN scook - I’m just stating the FACTS of what trump said and did.
Trump said he wouldn’t have time to play golf as President but he actually played more golf than the man he said should not have.

Can you grasp the difference between an important fact and a completely irrelevant one?

FACT is Pence is correct - he had no right to stop the rightfully elected transfer of power to Biden. So Pence said NO to trumps lie .

As I've said many times, everyone, even you Greene, is entitled to their opinion. That doesn't make them those opinions right or wrong. (WELL, IN YOUR CASE ALMOST ALWAYS WRONG) But I digress. Mr. Pence is entitled to his opinion. I've seen lengthy articles written by lawyers on both sides of the aisle saying that he did and that he did not have the power.
Are you a lawyer schooled in congressional law Greene? Because if you are not may I respectfully suggest that you shut up because you don't know what you're talking about and are only making (continuing) a fool of yourself.

And it’s not an opinion it’s OUR CONSTITUTIONAL FACT that Pence had no power over election determination . You’re wrong again .

I’m sure you’re right bgreene - we should definitely view the AP as purveyors of “OUR CONSTITUTIONAL FACT”, a phrase that you appear to have just made up, over the ACTUAL fact that lawyers, who study these issues, don’t agree on the law.
You have no idea of what is and isn’t a FACT, but in your naive ignorance and arrogance, you’re not dissuaded from proclaiming huge amounts of BS as FACTS.
If anyone, not already as deluded as yourself, found your nonsense persuasive, you would be dangerous. Thankfully they don’t and you’re not.

Pence had NO POWER to stop the legal process.
As Pence stated - TRUMP WASWRONG
Michael McConell, law professor and director of the Constitutional Law Center at Stanford Law School, said there are some ambiguities within the Electoral Count Act that could be shored up. For example, there is some ambiguity in the language referring to how Congress handles competing slates of electors from a state when the law says only those that are “regularly given” shall be counted, he said.
And HERE IT IS :
But NONE of the ambiguities could be reasonably interpreted as giving the vice president the power to unilaterally overturn an election’s results, said McConell, a former federal appellate judge. He said there was no serious basis for that claim.

I may be wrong, but I thought the request of Mike Pence was to withhold certification, since every attempt to investigate fraudulent voting was blocked, in the majority of cases, on procedure, not for lack of evidence.

Oh you’re wrong alright scook:
1. Trump lost by wide margin
2. Each of our Depts of Security and Government Dem and Republican confirmed the result
3. Pence did not have any authority otherwise
4. Each of trumps audits reconfirmed the result that Biden won
5. There was NO evidence approaching any amount of inaccuracy that would change the result
And yet …..you and many trump lovers side with NOTHING but empty conspiracy theories over our proven systems, facts and laws of our nation.

Wrong again scook - I provided answer with link .
As Scook said, almost all of the lawsuits were dismissed for procedure reasons (Statute of limitations expirations mostly) NOT for lack of evidence. Pence was asked to withhold certification until the appeals could be heard. He said he had no authority to do so and so he certified the election. (Fact is I've seen many opinions from legal sources that say that Pence actually DID have that authority. So there's a difference of opinion even within the legal community). As a result we got the most deranged, senile, bumbling old coot we've ever had as a president who has single handedly brought this Country to the brink of war, given us runaway inflation, made us dependent on foreign Countries for energy, allowed over 2 MILLION illegal aliens into our Country... the list goes on and on. Oh, and gas went up ANOTHER 10 cents this week.... just like almost EVERY week. Several stations in NJ are now over $4.00 a gallon... but hey... it's all great right? Cause it's all Trumps fault and Biden is going to fix everything....... <sarcasm> Only an ignorant FOOL would believe that. Are you an ignorant fool?

Discussions in place to actually STRENGTHEN the current Constitutional Law that the Vice President does not have the power over election certification.
This is worthwhile so lying , cheating con traitors such as trump cannot have a VP stop due process alone.
Like a sign that reads “ NO CROSSING” destroyer…….sneaks like you and trump now require us to add wording to the sign that reads “ NO CROSSING EVER BY ANYONE”
You really are a sneak just like Trump

Like I said, there is a difference, even among legal scholars, as to did or did not Pence have the power to not certify the election. As to discussions already in place that's fine. That's what our congressional representatives are supposed to do. But that's what the future MAY hold, not what is NOW.
See, that's your problem. You always jump to conclusions. You think that the discussions will absolutely go your way, whereas they may not or (given Congress' history), they may just be left as is. It's impossible to tell at this point.
