It's obvious that you have no idea about the military justice system. You might want to find a copy of the UCMJ (Uniform Code Of Military Justice) before you make another silly remark.

If your superior gives you a direct order, and you refuse to obey it, (depending on the circumstances) you can be shot on the spot. For instance, if you're told to charge up a hill and you refuse. No lofty speeches, no arguing with him or her, just BANG!!, you're dead. OR you might be arrested, go before a military tribunal where 3 judges will hear your case and then decide on your punishment. (which can be anything from a long prison sentence at Leavenworth Prison to execution by firing squad)

Like every other military person, when I enlisted I took an oath to uphold the laws of the United States. Those laws are called the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice) and if I failed to uphold them then depending on the circumstances, I could be shot on the spot or arrested to await a courts martial.
