That's complete BS and you know it. He (Waters) was speaking metaphorically about asking Dr. Fauci questions. He never mentioned a sniper of anything like that. Please don't lie.

Watters on Monday made a speech at a Turning Point USA conference in which he said that Americans should have no reservations about approaching Fauci in public and filming the interaction while pelting him with hard-hitting questions.

He said Fauci should be questioned for his decisions and then went on to describe how an ordinary citizen could create a viral moment by confronting Fauci in public and getting it on video. In his description, Watters used the metaphor of “ambushing” Fauci in the style of an aggressive journalist.
He said, “The kill shot, with an ambush — deadly, 'cause he doesn’t see it coming. This is when you say, ‘Dr. Fauci, you funded risky research at a sloppy Chinese lab, the same lab that sprung this pandemic on the world. You know why people don’t trust you, don’t you?’ Boom, he is dead! He is dead! He’s done!”

Here is the actual speech: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SeNjFx2-sYE&t=8574s. Go to 2:27:28 to hear the actual words. There is no way that anyone could mistake what he said as him calling for an actual physical shooting of Fauci.

This is a perfect example of how DEMOCRATS TWIST AND SPIN THINGS to make them appear as what they are not. And then you get their followers saying things like "Fox News Jesse Watters says sniper should kill Dr Anthony Fauci". Which is completely untrue. He never said anything like that, but that's how they roll.

“ metaphorically “ says destroyer making excuse for completely inappropriate and dangerous comment. Not an excuse

There's no excuse needed - the publishing of the statement that Jesse Waters called for Fauci's murder is a blatant, bald-faced lie. It once again demonstrates the dishonesty of the news sources you often quote.

Knowing how biased and dishonest those sources are, it may not have been the best analogy to use, but it was ONLY an analogy and probably not a bad one, considering the audience was young people who probably play a lot of video games.

Once again, a flagrant LIE by the extreme left leaning "mainstream" press. If you actually watched the speech, you could not honestly write what you did.

You sir are correct and I wrong on this one - he did say it as a metaphor and not a direct threat . As to the FACTS related to Dr Fauci there is no evidence his involvement had connection to the development of COVID as the attached explains.

This hate of Dr Fauci remains horribly incorrect as it applies to his efforts, messaging and commitment to providing the most accurate and complete virus information and actions to be taken- masks, vaccines, gatherings etc

Thank you.

I don't join in the hatred, but it does seem he funded gain of function research in the Chinese lab (whether what he did meets the exact definition of the phrase). Listening to Rand Paul questioning him in congress and reading related documents, gives me pause about swallowing whole everything he says.

It would be helpful if the whole thing wasn't so political. I agree with you that for the most part, the vaccines seem to be effective enough to warrant the apparently pretty small risk of taking them. I've gotten the two Moderna jabs, plus the booster and recommend it to anyone who doesn't have a contraindicating medical condition.

WRONG of this Fox News commentator however to be encouraging college students to be against Dr Fauci . Especially not right to encourage such aggressive rudeness to Dr Fauci as he says “ seek out Fauci and politely ask if you can ask him a few questions . Fauci will say no so then get in his face and say oh yes we’re going to discuss this now !”

FOX guy did use the “ go for the kill shot “ rhetorically but he was preaching a biased and unfair approach - claiming facts that have NOT been confirmed as connected to COVID .

Dr Fauci’s been a pillar of good intentions and hard work to keep us informed as the science of this virus has changed.

I wasn't particularly comfortable with how aggressively he suggested going after Fauci. I do sympathize somewhat, given the left's obnoxious "go after anyone associated with the Trump administration if you see them in restaurants, make them miserable, ruin their dinner, etc."

I think Fauci has tried be an honest arbiter of information about the Covid situation, but I'm inclined to think that his veracity slipped a little, covering himself on the gain of function issue.

As a general question, how do you view the news sources lying about the Jesse Waters speech? Does that cause you to question their overall trustworthiness?

I’m a “ news junkie “ because I read from many sources - left / right / centrist and I FACT check .
This one was clearly badly skewed, BUT as an accurate generalization, CNN has consistently reported much more fact based , and with WAY LESS bias than Fox News. Example being how hard CNN was on Biden for the Afghanistan withdrawal screw up .

Trump, his words and actions confirms he’s “ trump first “ above our nation and all others . He clearly has malignant narcissistic personality disorder and is a lying cheating con man traitor.
If he returns and wins back the Presidency there’s every reason to fear a very big step from democracy to autocracy . American may actually never be the same .
