well despite very muddy water and a touch of red tide, managed to get this guy

you can see in the photo how close I am to shore also in 20 ft of water with gas approaching $4 bucks a gallon, I love this type of fishing

heard pompano were beginning to bite to the west of us, so if the weather holds, will probably go into surf fishing mode for a couple of weeks
