My fault - it works.

I'd take the radar if I had a hardtop!

I used to be a welder (TiG MiG) and was thinking of a hardtop design that I could fabricate at a friends shop.

The hardest part is really the top itself. It has to have a camber in it to look right and shed water, and fiberglass of course looks the best. I have learned that I am not much of a fiberglass guy. ;D The other option would be to make the top out of sheet aluminum wrapped over a pipe frame.

I may just bail on the idea and make an arch - they are alot easier. In any event, I was looking at these ideas for a winter project - so if the radar is still around then let me know.

Thank god it sold. I've been on the radar bubble for awhile now. I'm ready to order the arch anydaty now, but I can't for the life of me figure where I'd mount the radar display. Any ideas?
