SO I have an '87 cuddy with a 60 gallon tank. Needs replacing and I ran across this one: https://www.oceanlinkinc.com/product/50-gallon-belly-shaped-tank-44-x-30-75-x-10-25-folt5007/
I'm pretty sure it will be ok for a fit, anything I'm missing?
BTW: I checked with the original company in Perry, FL and I got a quote for $1186, American dollars!! PLUS shipping, even though I would've drove to pick it up;)
I'm up for any suggestions! TIA

Seems like a good fit.
Can t believe that price from Perry. But everything has doubled in the last couple of years
Sure would not have to worry about corrosion again. I do know they expand and contract more than aluminum
What power do u have on your V ?

Was just wondering what that missing 10 gallons would do to your range
Probably not much of an issue

You know what man, I thought about that... and if I was an offshore fisherman I probably would've spent the money and gotten that 60G replacement. However, I live on the Harris Chain of Lakes in Central Florida and 50 gallons is a lot ;)

I put a 40 gallon poly tank in my V20 when I got it, worked great. Gave me all the range I needed with the super efficient Johnzuki I was running.
I found mine at Flounderpounder.com, which is a surplus dealer there in Florida, you might luck out and find one through them if they are still active.
Well, I just looked, Flounderpounder.com is now a clothing seller, oh well.

Hey man, thanks for the lead anyways... much appreciated! I'm in the wrong business... fuel tanks is where it's at!
I ordered the 50G poly one referenced above yesterday... ready for this? On the cart page, they make you call the office so they can tell you in person that there is a 6-8 week lead time on ALL TANKS!!! Whatever... I ordered it because even with $100 shipping, its half the price of any other I can find.
Oh well... I'll be back on the water soon!
