:)Thanks for the compliment. After I spent the winter and spring replacing everything that was showing its age, I took the family out for the first time a couple of days ago. Long story short, the wife and kids would rather a boat with a larger cabin that they could sit in. I was bothered by this at first, but larger cabin means larger boat ;). I tried the "lets have two boats" routine but that didn't fly. Now if only there was a V25 walkaround ? ? ?

I really like your boat...if other priorities weren't in place, I'd be talkin' to you pretty seriously about buyin' it...I'll move up to one of those, but not soon... ;) ;D...

;D Thanks again RP. Its crazy that Wellcraft stopped making these boats. We were on a very crowed lake that had boat wakes all over. The steplift cut right through the waves while many of the other boats were bouncing up and down :D I will miss her, but it would be nice to have a larger boat that we could "camp" in.

94v21,
Nice looking boat. I noticed on the listing that you replaced the transon access doors. Where did you get them?
Also, I like that you replaced the fiberglass access hatches in the cuddy with Starboard. I have a 95 v21 and those things are really friggin heavy! I added handles, but may consider changing them out for Starboard. Good luck with the sale - someone will get a nice boat.

Buckleyjr,
I got the hatches off of ebay from a surplus dealer.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=50443&item=4504960 805
They were made by the same company as the original hatches and were an exact fit. *I like these better because they have two cam type latches.
The cuddy panels on my 94 were carpeted plywood and were starting to fall apart. *I didn't want any exposed wood on the boat so I replaced them with 3/4 starboard which fit flush.

Blue came and looked at the boat and it followed him home :'(
If he finishes what I started, it will be one heck of a boat!

Already took it for a spin. Chris, what's your new handle gonna be? You gotta lose that 94V21 man! :P
You were right, it did everything you said it would do. It ran exceptionally well. I hit 35mph with 3/4 tank of fuel @ 4400rpm and 3 people (well, two adults and two lil uns). I am one very happy V21 owner. The thing is, it gonna be hard not saying "V20" any more ??? Plus I guess I have to find a new home in the gallery. Man, nothin but work around here :o
Anybody want to buy a '72 that just had $800 worth of work done to the transom and rebuilt 1979 trailer with new springs, u-bolts, bearings, grease?!
I guess I need to get rid of it now huh? I will be posting the pictures. The transom work looks eeeeeexcellent. Ready to hand one on there. Except for a small leak in the port saddle fuel tank (near the top I believe). I'm planning on pulling that tank, draining and filling with water. Then let dry, rinse and then weld the hole while its still damp on the inside. The other tank works like a champ and has not leaks whatsoever.

...and new trailer winch, new rims and tires...forgot to say that. ::) Its pretty sweet. Its a galvanized trailer and the fenders are straight as a stick and sturdy enough to jump up and down on!

Hey BR, what does it feel like to have a boat that is 22 years newer? Does it feel like the same boat basically? I hope you enjoy it.

The ride feels very close to the 22 year older boat. The transom design on the V21 makes it feel like I 'WENT BRACKET YOUNG MAN" I guess you could say I WENT FACTORY BUILT-IN BRACKET YOUNG MAN. I like it a whole lot. Hats off to 94V21 for everything from start to finish - beginning with a post on this site to let us know about his eBay listing. What bliss ;D

Thanks Shicks and everyone else.
RAP, the prop is 14.25 X 17. I don't have the GPS on her yet, but if the speed on the gauge was right, I was doing 35mph @ 4400 rpm.
Franco - the top and enclosure fits! With the addition of a few new snaps along the curved side windows, its going to work great. I can't wait to post some pics!
