Thank you RAP.

I've had several inquiries already and its only been 1 day. Plus, I tracked a similar listing about 2 weeks ago for a set of twins just like these (same year and all) minus the ss props and dual controls. They sold for $1525. You'd think I could get at least $1500, now wouldn't you?

We'll see very soon!

SOLD - $1580. The guy is local and will be picking up next weekend.

that means I had $920 in '72 Boat and '79 trailer when I bought it. Then I put $450 in the trailer and $900 in the boat, so now I'm up to $2270 in that rig.

Can you believe it? The guy that bought the motors from me is putting them back on a '78 V20!! He said it has twin 75 gallon fuel tanks!! Watch out Havis :o

I told him about the forum here. Maybe he'll stop by and show us pictures!

Good motors know what they like. You can take the motors out of the V20, but you can't take the V20 outta them mota's ;)

That's him Phester! Right on Trout - those motors must have been destined for the V20 - what are the chances of that happening?????????

well i've got a chane to look the motors over one has a reman powerhead with 115 even across the board on compression. which isn't bad wish it had what the books calls @120 to 125 but 115 will do. The other has all low and 2 really low holes so it's time to open her up and ring and piston her. it has 2 holes 100 PSI other set has a 75 PSI and a 60 PSI set of holes but not a prob. to fix the walls look great when i took the heads off so thanks again for the Great Deal Runner. Both motors have V6 Lower units too i noticed with the 15 spline props. Maybe we can take her out sometime to the beach or lake together.

Skool, thanks for letting me know. Hate to hear the one motor has not so good compression. If anybody can fix it, I know you can ;D I'm so glad these motors ended up with a good home.

When you get your V20 done, I'm comin down to Emerald Isle and we're gonna go catch some kings!
