Went out Saturday, threw the trolling rods in just in case, more of a shakedown cruise. I had to replace my shift & throttle cable last Wednesday. The daughter and her husband went along for the ride. noticed some boats trolling and decided to join them.

Awesome!

Do you use Clark's spoons behind a small planer down there like we do off the NC coast?

What a show off!!! Showing us the fish they caught, then showing us how they were cooked and the killer, how they were going to be eaten!!!
But we all LOVE A SHOWOFF!!!!! ENJOY!!!!!

Show off? This from a guy who flaunts an egg & bacon bagel.

This is what we use, RMB. locally know as a straw rig or christmas tree, with a clark spoon tied on the end.

the one with the red beads is a home made one,

but really, when they are running, you could probably drag a bare hook and catch them.

P, Yeah Yeah, love my bacon everything bagel!!
How were those fish taco's? Looked delicious!!!
We use the same rig up here for our Boston Mackerel if and when they show up. Becoming harder and harder to locate every year.
BE SAFE!!!
