What a day. As far as flounder fishing in Chincoteague Bay goes, I'd almost call it "epic." Here's a few pics to enjoy on a Monday afternoon.

Fishing buddy Rob, with his first of the year:

My photography skills need much improvement. Then again, I get so excited on the boat that I don't care much about lighting, shadows, and all that other stuff that makes for good pics. Here is one that was getting ready to be tagged and released...note the nice measurng board:

And lastly, another shot of the days booty, and the fine vessel that carried us...

Man, you guys are demanding, first pics, now details? ;D

Fish were caught on squid / minnow combo's and silversides. Half on bare hook, half on "tipped bucktail."

Anchored, drifting or trolling?

C YENSEN
04-23-2007, 03:19 PM
the fishing reports up here say all the flounder are being caught trolling ??? you were drifing weren't you ???

Airslot
04-23-2007, 03:24 PM
All fish caught on the drift. It was a perfect day w/ no wind, 57* water temp, 72* air temp, and the water cleaner than I've ever seen. Could see bottom in as much as 9' at times. The fish are primarily feeding on silversides, with some manta shrimp mixed in. I had on boxer / briefs, and the wifey wore a teal thong?

Did I leave out any details? ;D

No sir, upon sighting said thong, I forgot all about the camera. I apologize for being a bad member ;D

So be it Stinky, but I'd at least like a jury of my peers. Some of the older members might be more understanding, you know, about getting excited when seeing said thong ::)

In fact, lets ask master Willy, bet when he saw the thong hw wouldn't reach for the camera....come on Willy...back a brother up ;D

Sorry boys but thong bearing WOMEN take precedent over photos. Even of fish.
Horny thong wearing women take precedent over fishing and boating.
Horny thong wearing women on your boat that will also bait your hook and grab a beer PRICELESS 8)

Yeah, what did you have for lunch, what type of shampoo do you use, oh and just one more detail, the GPS coordinates. ;D

Airslot

Lunch was pretzels and water, Pert for shampoo, and the coordinates for the area just N of Queens Sound Bridge are 37*56.1N, 75*25'W.

There ya go ;D

Air I just checked out those GPS coordinates you posted and it took me to Susans Seafood market. ???

Me thinks you asked her to toss the fish to you over the counter so you could say you caught them. Nice try. >:(

Really: those are some nice fish and it sounds like a great trip.

As you and Willy stated a woman in a thong is more important then pictures. ;D
