100% agree. Besides, I like him. Ya, he's a bit of a showboat and loves to hear himself talk, but he does what he says he's gonna do, and for a politician that's a real rarity. Besides, the Government already takes to much of my pay, and I cannot afford more taxes from Bernie, Lizzy or Creepy Joe. :head:

Crazy times ......I was very hopeful based on the original concept Trump brought.....while concerned that his dealing ways wouldn’t fit the office.
I’m still pro on a few of his positions, but I find him to be his own worst enemy.
I know this new thing labeling anything you don’t like as “ fake” isn’t in the best interest ofour country and our people. So I’m going to wait and see ......and no ......I don’t see all Dems or Republicans as being
“ the same” .

I see very little difference between any of the Dem candidates. I did find Gabbard to be a little more palatable, but still her policies are more left than I am, and the Demomediastablishment has its claws out for her. I couldn't vote for any of the leading Dem candidates from what I've seen so far.

Here's a link to get you started so you'll be up to speed by the time President Trump is out of office in 2020. I'd like it to be earlier but have no confidence in the feckless Republican senators to put their oath of office and the Constitution before party loyalty. Feel free to do a google search for - What charges can be brought against Donald Trump once he's out of office- see what you can find.

:you: If he was that "guilty" of all those charges then tell me why all the Dems are charging him with is Obstruction of Congress and Abuse of Power. What a sham... Is that all they can come up with after all this bull$hit and wasting of taxpayer's money? Since there has been no trial he cannot be accused of obstruction, since he has never been afforded, in a court of law, the ability to confront his accuser and to present his defense. The Democrats are making up their own laws as they go along. First it was Quid pro Quo, then when they couldn't prove that they switched to Bribery (that their focus groups told them would resonate with the public), then when that didn't work out they switched to this latest bunch of MALARKEY.
As for the abuse charge, what did he abuse? As the chief executive he has the RIGHT, (actually, the obligation) under the Constitution, to make requests of any foreign government into any possible corruption by any US citizen.
And I hardly need to point out that the Political is nothing but a left wing democrat mouthpiece. Anything that you read there can be taken with a grain of sand.
The American public isn't dumb, they see through this sham and I'm telling you right now, the Dems are handing Trump a win in 2020.

It's not a sham and it's really pretty simple. First off, your assertion that Politico is a left wing democrat mouthpiece is simply NOT factual, It's rated as one of the least biased and most factual news sources available: https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/politico/
Cruise around that site and see how the news sources you rely on are rated for comparison. Do a search for Fox News, Breitbart, Sinclair, or maybe you're into OANN by now, I don't know, but check it out.
Secondly, The impeachment process does not have to have a crime associated with it to be a valid tool to remove a person from office. Precedents are already in existence to bear that out.
Third, The House is NOT responsible for Trying the President in a trial setting, that's the job of the Senate with the Chief Justice (Roberts) presiding. President Trump was offered the opportunity to participate in the House proceeding, but declined. Which brings us to your question about Obstruction of Congress. Not only did President Trump refuse to participate in the House Process, he willfully withheld documents, phone records and White House personnel from the process thereby obstructing Congress's oversight responsibility. See, that was simple.
Fourth, Abuse of Power; The President DOES have the right to investigate corruption or any other activity by a foreign government receiving aid from the US. However, he doesn't have the right to use Congressionally mandated, taxpayer provided funds, in the neighborhood of $400 million as leverage to obtain foreign assistance in denigrating his primary opponent in the upcoming election. It's against Federal Election Commission rules for any candidate to receive something of value from a foreign entity to help in an election.
The Democrats aren't "making up their own laws" as they go along, that's just an ignorant statement. I'll grant you the Democrats are trying to find a way to phrase the charges to best describe the inappropriateness of the President's behavior, but when you're in a target-rich environment it's hard to settle on just a couple. Whether it's shagging a porn-star and then paying her off in secret while your wife's home with the new baby, or mocking a disabled reporter by acting like a spazz, or most lately, jealous-tweeting about Time magazine's Person of the Year, there are many examples of this President's unsuitability for office. None of which will mean anything to you because of your bias. But, hey okay, we all have biases and we can agree to disagree.
Finally, talking about waste of taxpayer money, $114,000,000 for golf trips. The expense of these hearings pales in comparison.
You may be right about President Trump being re-elected, but in my opinion, the fact that the Democrats are up-holding what I see as their right of oversight provided for in the Constitution, and staying true to the oath they took to protect the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic, underscores why this is NOT a sham. And if President Trump is re-elected, we'll still be here pushing back on the things that are not in support of the Nation's best interest or against established practice and law.

mediabiasfactcheck reads pretty much like the fox guarding the henhouse. Run by a guy who "over the years has focused on personal research in media bias and the role of media in politics" using admittedly "subjective judgement" might reaffirm your personal opinion, but is hardly an authority.
Secondly, impeachment has never resulted in a President being removed from office, and I'll bet you dollars to donuts that it won't this time, either.
Third, Trump was wise not to participate in the House's biased, totally partisan impeachment hearings. Withheld documents from a Congressional investigation? Okaaaay. Now do Obama.
Fourth, Okaaaay. Now do Biden.
"I'll grant you the Democrats are trying to find a way to phrase the charges to best describe the inappropriateness of the President's behavior" is so rich. The House Democrats' interpretation of events with regard to Ukraine are so broad that they could be applied to any President and probably any member of the House and Senate. It will be interesting to watch how this new precedent plays out in future Presidencies where the House is held by the opposition party, especially when the President is a political outsider and threatens the swamp's status quo. And your claim of "mocking a disabled reporter" displays your own lack of bias or willful ignorance. Take your pick.
Democrats' claim that they're just doing their job is disingenuous at best. And nothing that either of us has to say is going to change minds and hearts, so carry on "pushing back" and have a Merry Christmas.
Cheers!

Really?
I think that's in the literal, not judicial, sense Skunk. Political correctness BS had made it almost impossible to say Merry Christmas without fear of offending someone. President Trump has repeatedly gone out of his way, both on Twitter and on National Television, to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. (using those exact words, not some watered down "happy holidays" thing). In effect, he's shown the Nation that it's ok to say Merry Christmas and that the sky will not fall on you for saying it.
What everyone seems to forget is that Christmas really is a shortened version of "Christ's Mass"... It a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. It's not a J ewish, African, Muslim, Hindu, or any other religion's celebration. The fact that all of them happen to fall somewhere in the same time period is immaterial. Being forced to say "happy holidays" for fear of offending someone is, in itself, offensive to me and to every other Christian, because it hinders us from wishing fellow Christians a Happy and Joyous Christmas holiday. So, to all my fellow Christian brothers and sisters, on this most holy day of days I wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS. And I wish a happy festivus to the rest of us..

That said, I don't see anything wrong or offensive with "Happy Holidays".

And you'd be perfectly within your rights, but also 100% correct that you would offend someone somewhere. That's the problem with Political Correctness... By trying to please everyone you wind up not being able to please anyone.
As for your assertions about Obama, Pelosi and Schummer, I'm not going to try to prove or disprove them. All I'm going to do it again point out that President Trump has gone out of his way to say "Merry Christmas" emphatically in most of his speaches, rallies and on Twitter. And truthfully, I must disagree with you about it being a phony, made up offense. It started back around the time of President Clinton and the political correctness movement and has grown stronger every year. Answer me a question... You're a merchant. When you have a customer in your shop do you wish them a Merry Christmas or do you try and be inclusive and wish them Happy Holidays? If your answer is Happy Holidays then you're a part of the problem, it's not made up and Mawshj is 100% correct. I rest my case.

So when did any of them become capital crimes warranting life in prison? Just curious. He is a businessman, used to getting things done. Outspoken? Yes, Brash?.. yes Womanizer? Yes, that also. But none of them are crimes. When he ran for President he gave a lidt of things he was going to do, starting with beefing up our emancipated armed forces. He did that, built a wall, got rid of thousands of needless rules and regulations, got us out of NAFTA, etc etc. In other words he did what he promised he would do. What's wrong with that?
Now compare him to our present imposter-in-chief, who has been in Congress for 48 years and has done absolutely nothing. Here's what he voted for:
1983 Biden votes to tax Social Security benefits [in effect cutting benefits].
1984 As a senator lead a tough on crime bill.
1988 Biden supports Strong Anti-Drug Abuse legislation [which put so many minorities in prison for minor offences].
1991 Votes against the four-day liberation of Kuwait, population 4.1 million; ending the invasion and occupation by Iraq.
1993 Biden casts decisive vote to raise percent of Social Security benefits that are taxable from 50% to 85% [in effect cutting benefits].
1993 Votes to keep homosexuals out of the military.
1994 Biden supports anti-marijuana legislation.
2002 Votes for Iraq war.
2006 Biden votes to block Federal funding of abortion.
2009 Biden helps Obama get OBAMACARE legislation passed.
Also, Biden has voted to increase income taxes many times, so I will not list them all here.
Oh, I almost forgot... he also became a multi-millionaire during that time, owning several houses. All that on a salary of less than 180K a year. He's the poster child for a corrupt politician.

Hey D ......
Well sir, what you don’t know but will now is I grew up in NY and knew of Trumps dealings quite well. I was initially a Trump supporter for President with a few concerns.
Trump subsequently lost my support and....I don’t identify my own self worth with
any political figure . Meaning......bad is bad, and I believe it takes character to say “ was wrong” and go in other direction. That’s what I did and I believe America is already much better for it . The non stop blaming, trouble stirring, and lying from Trump ended.....thank God.
Now as for your comment that I have some kind of issue ......that’s an unfortunate message to receive .....the days of “ you’re wrong and you have issues - insults etc” associated with Trump are behind us......

And as you know I grew up in NJ. What you don't know is I worked in NYC for many years. I know of Pres Trump's reputation. I agree it's less than stellar. There are many things I personally don't like about how he runs his life. But his personal life is not his political life, which is far and above that of Biden, Obama, Bush, etc. As a candidate he promised to do certain things. As President he kept his word and did them. I respect that in a man. Even more so in a politician.
Your attacking his personal life rather than his political life, without any specifics, without any proof, is simply a repeat of everything we've been hearing from the left for the last 4 years and has been characterized by the right as TDS. I don't need to be a doctor to know when a person is sick with a cold. Nor do I need to be a mechanic to know that when a car doesn't start something is broken. So also I don't need to be a sociologist in order to know when someone has TDS. Some things are simply apparent to the casual observer.
You say that "the days of “ you’re wrong and you have issues - insults etc” associated with Trump are behind us". Yet you have no problems saying that President Trump has a " Malignant Narcissistic Personality Disorder" or saying he "lies, cheats, steals, slanders, embellishes, misquotes, bully's, blames, etc". So which is it? Is it okay for you to call people names but not others? Truthfully, I didn't look at my saying you have TDS as name calling. I simply looked at it as an acknowledgement of an obvious fact. If it bothered you I do apologize. It is never my intention in a discussion to call people names. It is, however, always my intention to point out what appear to be obvious facts.

One of the many great things about our country — we get to vote, and the majority voted Trump out.....
Of course he claimed foul .....about the same voting process that he praised when he won in 2016, but that’s because he can’t face it . Lousy character, placed himself above the good of our country .
Anyway ..the carnival barker’s out, Joe Biden’s President, his lovely and talented wife working hard too, along with a solid VP and team.

Really? I find "Doctor Jill" to be grating, and the VP to be a solid ZERO. And I have been around enough dementia patients to know one when I see one.

So nice .....NOT hearing former President of our country non stop whining, blaming, slandering, and stirring hate every single day .....
Imagine ....a President of our United States that among other things:
Publicly sided with Russian former KGB Putin over our own top people.
Imagine ....a President of our United States gleefully standing by while his law breaking violent criminals break into our Capitol , set up a gallows to hang our Vice President,
attack our police, and vandalize our government building .
Well ...... it happened .
We came wayyyyyyyy too close but in the end, our Governors, Secret Service, Military, and our Government held and preserved our democracy.

Cheers.

A stick at the side of the road - is a stick .
Leaves on the ground - are leaves.
A man in position of President of our United States that repeatedly put himself ahead of our country in small and big ways ........is a traitor .
A traitor is a traitor.
Nice attitude Pipe .....agreed and cheers to you too sir

I only know a handful of people that voted for biden and they hate trump as a person. Nothing he did was good enough. I dont like the guy but he was a good president. I didnt vote for him to be my friend.
If you support the current clown show you should adopt a couple of those undocumented immigrant children that came across the border(who knows what happened to them along the way and the vp just laughs about it). And dont forget to hand in your guns too, except your double barrel. Joe says shoot that off the back porch if you hear a bump in the night.
Everyone that had anything to do with getting him in office should feel terrible. I wouldnt do that to an elderly person that doesnt know whats going on. He is just a puppet.

Greenie, you're wrong. You drank the Kool-ade and you've been brainwashed by a media that is 90% controlled by the left (let that sink in.. 90%) So 90% of everything you (think) you know about President Trump has been filtered by a media that has hated him since the day he left the Democratic party and became a Republican. (Hmmm.... who else do we know that did that... Ahhh yes, President Reagan) With the same results... the left hated him also.. but they didn't have social media as a tool for their lies back then. They couldn't censor the news like they did on President Trumps watch. They didn't have opinionists masquerading as journalists back then like we do now.
FIVE very rich billionaire CEO's control 90% of the "news" that the American public sees and hears. Add to that the THREE very rich billionaire CEO's that control and are actively censoring the content on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube so that you only see and hear what *THEY* want you to see and hear and it's easy to understand why people like yourself believe that crap about President Trump. As Paul Joseph Goebbels (Hitlers minister of Propaganda) once said. "When you control the media, when you control what they see and hear, you control what people think, and when you control what they think, you control them"
You have been fed nothing but pure propaganda, lies and distortions, all against President Trump, from the day he and his wife walked down that stairway to announce his run for president.
If you care to continue to believe the lies.... well, there's not much anyone can do or say to change your mind. As the saying goes, "There are none so blind as those that will not see". I think that describes you to a "T".
Have a great day. See you on the water.

Now with Joe Biden as President and Kamala Harris VP ......were back to being more polite again.
So now we mostly say .....I disagree.......not youre wrong.
Unfortunately, far too many Americans followed Trumps very, very bad example to lie, cheat, insult and steal.
IRS, NYS and other departments will likely be pressing charges against Trump soon.
Through his presidency, i FACTS CHECKED many of his claims and found them to be false.
Our tax and other laws apply to him too.

Well, you can "disagree" all you want. But when you're wrong, you're wrong. Disagreeing leaves room for debate or, at the least, dialog. Being wrong means there is no disagreement, there is no room for dialog, it's simply a matter of fact, and you're wrong.
You say President Trump was a bad person, that he did this and he did that. Then you go an announce your full support for the imposter-in-chief Biden, even though he has done almost nothing while in Congress for 40+ years, became a millionaire during that time on a 180K a year salary, likes to feel and sniff little girls (and big girls too), is a racist that has voted several times against black people, (resulting in thousands of them being put in jails), and even voted against the raid that killed Bin Laden. That's the "stellar" man you're supporting, because the billionaire masters that control the left wing media have told everyone to support him. He's so corrupt that he makes Trump look like an angel.
Debating you is useless because you discount anything that people say and simply keep repeating the same old left wing nonsense that orange man bad. Everything I've told you is easily verifiable, but I seriously doubt that you have even bothered to fact check anything I've said. I'm probably finished debating you on this subject. So go ahead, have the last word.

Hey D ....Conspiracy theories are most often EXCUSES for people who want to avoid TRUTH .
Im not only stating Trump a bad person ........hes a criminal and should go to prison for crimes against our nation.
Lets take Mike Pence as example ...super loyal VP to Trump.
But it the end, because Pence stood tall and followed the LAW of our land, Trump not only threw him under the bus.....he left him to be hung by a violent mob !!!
You wrote Biden voted against the raid that killed Osama
Accurate truth was.....Biden did counsel against the attack thinking raid on foreign soil too risky without being sure Osama was there.
Our excellent President Obama took the risk - and it proved the right decision .
Personally , Id be embarrassed AND ashamed to support the traitor Trump.
Check facts not speculation.

Another massive Trump BS memory.........
Trump spent years ripping Obama Care health plans as horrible.
Trump then PROMISED he’d have a MUCH BETTER plan on his day 1 .
Four years later Trump had NOTHING saying only that it was complicated.
