07.16.2019 - Finally some Porgy's

Joe and I went out again yesterday on his skiff to hunt down those Porgy's. We found a few and we kept a few for my eye doctor, she wanted them, The size limit is 9", we don't keep anything under 11", those fish are way too small. Fluke fishing is done in the bay so it's these crazy fish until October. Check out the video.

Where are getting the porgy . I m boating out of Atlantic highlands,are you getting them in the bay?

Step, Not in Raritan Bay, we caught ours in Jamaica Bay. They are being caught at the Rockaway Reef, Tin Can Grounds and I also heard close to you the Shrewsbury Rocks, find structure. Check the party boats out of the Highlands, I'm pretty sure they must be going for Porgy's. GOOD LUCK.

Giorgio thanks for the info but I fish on the jersey side I'm sure I will find them as soon as I get out, I have plenty of clams dso I will just drag it on the bottom till something hits,
