Has anyone else noticed some significant lag on this server lately? I don't seem to be getting it on any of the other servers I visit, and I play a lot of FPS games online and I think I would have noticed it. But lately this site seems to be really lagging. Or is it just me? :head:

Thanks Barry, Thanks Scott. Must be me than. Just weird that it's not happening on any other place I visit. :head:

You know, I’ve been having a lot of issues with my internet along with many people in my area. If I was having issues with this page I probably would of just assumed it was from my provider. I use my phone for everything and usually turn off my WiFi at home now and just use my data which is unlimited just not as fast as my WiFi “should” be. But I do believe that this page does take a little longer to load then others now that you mention it. Nothing too bad but a noticeable difference. If my WiFi was working properly I’d definitely be able to tell you.

THanks guys. I don't know what to say. Like I've said before, it's only this site, not any others. And I dame every night and would notice any sort of lag because of the kind of gaming I do (FPS) The difference between living and dying is microseconds. Thanks to everyone for their input.:clap:

Yo D, Have you tried multiple browsers - IE, FF, chrome, etc.? If so does it happen with all of them? I have not seen any issues, but having said that I noticed it took slightly longer to login today? Odd. But it could be a byproduct of the host our site lives on now. When we were forced to make the switch to a different host we had a choice to pay big $$$ for a dedicated host or go with a shared host - so here we are on the shared host. Not ideal but what is one to do?

In 2 years even the shared hosting monthly rate is set to double (or more, can't remember), so not sure what will happen then - but I won't be able to afford it so not sure what will happen then.

In the meantime, let's keep an eye on this slowness and post up here if anyone encounters it.

I *might* have a solution for that. Need to check a few things before I make any further comments. :head: I'll get back to you in a PM Blue.

Let us know, I for one would be glad to kick in towards the cost, I'm sure many others would as well.

I think you need to feed the squirrel in the wheel that powers your computer...

I’m with RMB - if some squirrel food is needed, I’d be happy to kick in (though I don’t notice any problem with the site).
