I haven't been on here regularly in a while, but whats up with hats? Is anybody having them made? I just fired up the pig and could use a new V-20 hat?

Tunaman, I took over the forum from MJ. I don't currently have any hats, T-shirts, stickers, etc. in the pipeline. Maybe at some point, but not now.

It always seems the t shirts and hats are a major pita for whoever volunteers to handle them, usually that person swearing they'll never do it again. I don't know much about anything, but I would think maybe a company like café press or some other t shirt company could make our shirts and handle all the ordering etc. That would also enable members to order shirts whenever they want and also different colors etc. If they cost more I don't think most would mind.

at one point, there was talk of Lands End doing some stuff, but they wanted $150-$200 dollars to set up the art work, and the hats were going to be $25-$35 . that was several years ago.

i agree with bradford, if we could get a third party to sub to,make it easier on everyone.

I have a friend that lives in Kentucky that just started a silk screening business doing t-shirts, etc. Her husband was in a car accident and is now confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life, so money is a little tight. I'll bet she would jump at the chance to do a large order. I'll call her today. (Friday) and see if she's interested and what her prices would be. I don't think she can do hat embroidery, but I'll ask her. She also does knockout beer mugs and personalized picture frames, etc. I'll post here later today with some answers.

Its always good to help people in need...let us know.

I do thinks Hats would need embroidery... T-Shirts/ Stickers.. A different story.

Thanks for looking into it

I order my work shirts from rushordertees and I’ve never had any issues. I came up with my design so I don’t get any “artwork” charges. Pretty reasonable prices and free shipping. I guess the biggest pain is getting the money from every one to get them ordered. It’d be best for someone to make the investment, get an order in then sell them. But problem is knowing how many to order.
