I've either been busy or weather was lousy, haven't got to go in a couple of weeks.

today was beautiful and bay was slick, so i put on my winter hoodie and hit the bay.

got one grouper, 28", litttle skinney, but a fish at least.

kinda had to see, but he had a hook and leader in his mouth from a previous encounter. the leader had the "curl of shame" on it when the knot fails.

I am trying skunk, grouper ends January 1, I usually donLt fish much till middle of March. My annual Spanish are here post. Talked to some guys that are finding good sea bass and black snapper. (Mangrove) bites. Might try to find those if this warm winter holds.

Hey Phat, print out the picture of my toasted everything bagel with butter and as I tell Sam and Siead in the Knapp Street Deli, 30lbs of soft bacon, so you will have it when you think of it. :pray:
Good luck with the rest of your season, I'm done until April. Now it's time to check leaders, replace and sharpen hooks, then clean all the reels and check my sticks.
