Starboard side deck drain has broken in half - was that way when we bought it.

Hole size is pretty small (1"?) and I'm having a hard time finding replacements in that size - I'd love to drill the hole larger but it sits in a channel that's built into the fiberglass deck so I can't go larger than 1 3/4ish without cutting into the encased plywood reinforcement :/ BUT everything I see is 3"+ od - I'm sure standards for draining water overboard have changed where drains are larger now.

I could use a thru hull fitting but A. it won't sit flush B. it won't have a screen or anything to stop small stuff from going overboard (like screws and nuts)

any suggestions? thanks!

you won't find exact replacements. And then you'll have to find the elbows with the right size hose barb to match scupper thru hulls on the other end.
I could go on but...
one option is to use the hard plastic 1" thru hulls from Perko (not the nylon ones) and cut down channels in the lip with a Dremmel.

I ended up using a brass !" bar drain

https://www.amazon.com/PROPLUS-GIDDS-122352-Sink-Drain-Brass/dp/B00PM8STM6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1506996004&sr=8-2&keywords=1%22+brass+bar+drain

had to cut the threaded nipple to the length i needed, put a barbed st ell on it to hook to thru hulls, i might can get some picks if you need them

this worked. I cut the slots to make it drain better.
