Bonito are pretty thick.........when you get them schooled up with chum and the porgie bite was good on the hard bottom.

Barely noticeable long period swell from Hurricane Jose was good for the surfers and it was a calm day out there.

Sunny inshore..........cloudy off about 10 miles.

Not sure - I headed out there and the party boats were there too

Sandy reef - yeh, I suppose. I have so many spots saved I couldn't tell you the official name just general area, such as Sea Girt reef etc. Within those locations are the spots where I've done best and I save them accordingly .

I was once on a seabass charter who moved about 50' based on his buddy's word in other boat and then we slammed the fish.

Sometimes with bottom fish if tides not strong I drift till hit a spot with most action, mark it,
then zoom in on gps to anchor as directly over as possible. This last Saturday I just got lucky - 3rd spot I set anchor on put me right on the porgie party
