They were a very popular boat in NJ. When I'm delivering flowers from Toms River down to Forked River, I see them everywhere. Many in nice shape on trailers or floating in a lagoon but many sad V20s collecting leaves under trees, rotting from the inside out.

here's one in Bayville. The hull warps in at the rollers on the trailer.

I used to have slip #4 in Leonardo. But the State kept raising the prices so much that it became necessary to make her a trailer queen.

I'm from NJ but don't have a V. I'm out of AHMM but I have family in Litlle Egg Harbor. There are loads of V 20s down there.

I'm slip #144 in the back on the left, on a fixed dock slip (not one of the floating docks) paying $2400. per season. We are only 2 blocks away from the boat and are able to walk there. If we weren't so close and able to use the boat a lot, I couldn't justify that cost. Since Sandy there is no fuel, lunch & bait shop anymore. Besides being from Jersey, what are others paying for slip/launch fees?

I'm in Will's Hole Marina, Point Pleasant Beach, Manasquan River between Rt35 and RR bridge...1 mile from ocean. Floating dock. Hellacious current! shhhhhhhhhh....$2k...shhhhhhhhh guess they have a hard time keeping boats in all slips due to current, bridge, and tight channel.

I have been kicked around Manasquan River for years I was at Brielle Basin(RR Bridge) for years, started at $1800 slowly worked me up to $3600. Left for Manasquan River Club in Brick, west of rt70...long ride... $2400 slowly jacked me to $3200...Back to Brielle basin $1800 for one season then Hoffmans bought them and basically told me to take my little dinghy somewhere else. Found a bargain at Garden State Marina Rt35 Bridge PtPleasant Bch due to wicked current $1800. They booted me to restructure docks for lifts and bigger boats....

You gotta wander around during the season and see who isn't full, then wander around and talk to them when its cold and they are accepting for the next season

Oh almost forgot (tried to forget) I "saved money" $1000 for 2 seasons at Ocean Gate marina (Barnegat bay at Toms River) 12.5 miles to inlet 12 .5 back...25 mile trip minimum every trip!

I can say that even $3200 was worth being close to the ocean and not trailering and /or not having to go thru PtPleasant Canal or worse Barnegat Inlet...

Franks pier at AHMM is like $1900 for the year and it's a fixed dock. The floaters without electric are like $2000 or $3000 I don't remember off hand. They have nice new floating docks since after Sandy but they're like $110 per foot and you pay for the slip size. Right now I do land storage on my trailer for $1300 for the summer.
