Hey guys. Today I wanted to update a thread of mine and can't see any of my pics. I see a sign that says update settings to allow 3rd party hosting. Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it?

If your pics are stored on Photobucket that's your answer. Looks like they are only hosting for people that pay them now. Greedy bbastards what?

I looked back and still see a lot of photobucket links working but I guess it won't last long.

Guess we have to stick with small pix uploaded as files. It is a pain to make a reduced size copy every time in order to load here.

Classicmako.com has a whole thread on the Photobucket shenanigans. Seems PB now wants $399 per year for 3rd party hosting.

Over in the *Off Topic* section Kracker made a post last week about the bastards at photobucket.

In the follow up posts on that thread I made the post that here was a link to 11 different sites that also are free like Photobucket and do third party hosting. Here's the link.

Well darn. I really got to figure this out. I have something to show you gents. My father in law took my advice and bought himself a '72 center console V. It's a beauty. I haven't seen it in person yet but seen pics. Wish I could share them with you guys.

you can post jpegs as attachments (the paperclip ). They have to be smaller files not Megapixels! To make them smaller there are several ways but a quick way is to email the pix to yourself as smaller size, then save them on your computer (I have a floder just for my "Email Pix" so I can find them easy...) The use the "paperclip" and Choose the pix you want to post (max 4 at a time)

Also, I have had success by saving pix in my "userCP Pictures and Albums" and then copying the BB code link and inserting it herehttp://wellcraftv20.com/community/picture.php?albumid=34&pictureid=1049

Also, you can copy the Image Adress from a WellcraftV20.com Gallery and insert it as an Image like this pic of Reelapeelin's V that I just snagged from the Galleryhttp://www.wellcraftv20.com/gallery/albums/album35/P1010019.jpg

If you already posted them on Facebook, you can right click Save Image to your computer and they will be small enough to post here using the paperclip. Like this attached pic at bottom....

Photo test.

Update: Well I downloaded Google photos and this appears to not work like Photobucket. As far as resizing and stuff on the computer I don't use a computer. I do everything in my phone so not really sure how to do all that on the phone.

You can resize on your phone by saving the picture, then emailing it to yourself, then save it again. I do it all the time to avoid photo bucket.

How can I embed my images in another website using Google Photos?1 best answer
I use the albums on Picasa to save lots of images I need for another website. Now that Picasa will be discontinued, I'd like to know how can I get a direct link to my .jpg/.png/whatever files using Google Photos.

Hi there!

Currently, there was no way to embed photos directly from Google Photos.
I suggest you send feedback to the Photos team.

However, you can share a link to direct people to your album by:
Click Share
Copy link and post it on your website as hyperlink.
Make sure that you also toggle on share album option by:
Click More> then Sharing Options
Toggle on Share album.

If you wanted to badly embed your photos, you could do that through Google Drive:
Open your Google drive
ClickSettings.
Under General > check "Create a Google photos folder"

A Google Photos folder will then appear on "My Drive", locate your desired
photo then follow these steps:embed images from google drive
That's too much work, but I hope it helps :)
