Alright guys so i had this idea the other while looking at my windshield. The fame is all oxidized and looking pretty rough. Has anyone every tried to actually awlgrip the frame for it?

Frame, i believe is anodized aluminum. Not that familiar with awlgrip, but if it sticks, don't know why not. I've done my 13 whaler with it and was not happy with the results, but i think it was me, not the product. Help a friend roll & tip a sailboat, it came out nice.
Like most painting, 95% prep,5% paint.
I've got to get down there and get a new pair of kinos

Yea the boat i work on is aluminum and fully sprayed it with awlgrip cost about 150 grand to spray a 113 foot boat. but when i comes to just the hull of my boat i think im going to go with the quantum 99 paint just rolls on and no tipping or sanding which is great!
If you make your way down to the keys give me a shout we'll have a beer!

I would think properly prepped the painted frames would look nice.
