So,..... my 4 reasons to go fishing are:
1) A day on the water. The peace of being with nature
2) Equally spending time with family/friends or the solitude of being alone.
3) Food
4) The sport (thrill) of the hunt and the satisfaction and constant re-affirmation to myself that I can provide for my family and myself if needed.
Can anyone else add to that list with something I might have missed? :head:

a reason to buy more stuff. you can always think of something you need or need to do... But who really needs a reason?

I love my kids, but being a stay at home mom, I need time away from them sometimes. So for me, it's my time when I can get away(turn my phone off and hide), spend some time with nature(guess that's why I like fishing out of Chass so much, it is the nature coast), and do something I enjoy with my clothes on. Getting some meat for the table is just a bonus, a tasty tasty bonus. Just wished I could go out offshore again, the feeling of it being just you as far as the eye could see in any direction was very calming.

It kind of adds on to your #1 choice
Fishing and boating chose me I had no choice. My fondest memories are fishing with the people who meant the most to me and trying to pay that back by sharing it with others.
