You guys find the top acts like a sail and blows the V20 off course when cruising?

It depends, down you're saving gas, however, in Florida w/bimini up, you're saving your skin......

I only take the Bimini down when trailering to the keys or hurricanes coming. Probably been down 15 days in the last 24 years. Original sunbrella canvas

I have a large top on my skiff, and never notice any problems with it up. I take it down for trailering and if the fishing requires it, but thats about it.

Blown off course due to top up?...not even when I had a full set of side curtains

Down for trailering, up the rest of the time. Down for the winter, up for the summer. Never had a problem with it blowing me off course. In fact, I find it actually helps at times with the drift. (Depending on wind and tide currents)

Yea when I'm on a straight course and a gust of wind comes by I have to recorrrect. I'll try dropping the front a bit.
