Ms. Margaret K. Dunlop, of Carver, passed away Thursday, April 7 in Falmouth Hospital, Falmouth following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of 35 years to, Joseph A. Gougeon. She was born 58 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Robert J. and Maude E. (Woodward) Dunlop, Sr. She was educated in Taunton and had been a Carver resident for the past 3 years. Margaret was an avid bingo player and enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her companion, Joseph, of Carver, she leaves: 1 son: Anthony N. Gougeon of Buzzards Bay; 1 daughter: Amanda M. Gougeon of Wareham; 2 brothers: James Dunlop of New Bedford, and Les Dunlop of California; 1 sister: Mary Perry of Taunton; 4 grandchildren: Markus Gougeon, Amiyah Gougeon, Payton Belch, and Logan Gougeon, and several nieces and nephews. Margaret was also the sister of the late Robert J. Dunlop, Jr. and Karen Broomhead.
A Graveside Service will be conducted on Thursday, July 7 at 11:00 A.M. in Mayflower Hill Cemetery, Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home of Taunton.
All are welcome to get toghter at Joseph's house at 23 Pipers Way Carver, Ma. after wards.
