We had a whale blow about 10' from our port side, pass under our boat, and surface again on the other side.
Magnificent.

do you catch those drifting or anchored with cutbait or live bait? ive been watching you tube videos of guys drifting with a 2 hook rig, wanted to try that around here.

Preferred method is drifting fluke are aggressive. Cut and live bait but keep it moving off the bottom. Buck tails and a top teaser. Fluke fishing in the north east is very popular and maybe the most desired.

Yes sir you steamed all the way from Belmar to the highlands, found me and threw a striped down bunker in the cockpit and that was all the bait we needed. Big Thank You!!!!!!! Then my partner cut up the fluke for Tile fish bait on Sunday thru Tuesday fishing on the Voyager.
