Here you go BR

Hardtop that came of a V-20 wellcraft, was altered to fit wellcraft. Nice place for electronics, great sunshade, and will help keep water off. Needs some aluminum welding. Buyer to pick up only.Located in Searcy, Arkansas. See my other sale for boat that had this top on it.

LOL I drove to St. Louis about 6 months ago. Left out at 7am EST and got there around 7:30pm CST. That's over 13 hours. Surprisingly it wasn't too bad. But I had a company car and company gas card to ease the pain!

I'd rather drive than fly, personally.

Don't temp me FM!

Willy, I recently asked a guy that had one built for his V20. It cost him just under $5000 including the curtain set. I think I'll stick with what I've got for now.

Now when my top and curtains finally do give out, I'll be lookin hard at doing something then. That is if I don't run across a cheap radar arch somewhere.

Five G's what do these guys retire someone on everyone they make. I missed the boat somewhere, Lord Skools if you know how to make those things I know what you should be doing for the next five years, before you retire to the Fla. Keys and start your charter service aboard your 38' Cabo ;)

hey blue,
in about another 4-7 days that boat you are talking about with the new hard top will be sitting in my driveway. man i sure am looking forward to digging into that thing. im still undecided about hardtop / enclosure... i really do preffer a bimini top, since the majority of my fishing / boating is done in ideal conditions.

FM, the nice thing about your indecision is you get to try the hardtop out first since its already installed ;)

Then if you don't like it, just take it off and sell it. ;D

But, if you don't mind me asking, what's not to like?

For me personally, I boat alot on a local lake that has low bridge clearance, so a folding radar arch would be purrrrrfect for me, while a hardtop would limit my flexibility.

Right now, the lake is down 5 feet and I can scoot right up under the two low lying bridges with ease, even with my bimini and enclosure up!

But, if it weren't for the low bridges, I'd be a hardtop man for sure!

I hear ya on that boat. Keep us posted on your new baby once you get her!

blue,

a couple things i dont like.

1. you cant open the center window and ride like that... frame in the way. i love runnin with that window open on a hot summer day.

2. may be my imagination but the dam thing looks top heavy... pitch and roll.

3. we do have one kinda low (LIRR) trestle that i dont think i will make at high water.

4. not a helluva lot of coverage... driftin for fluke in the aft cockpit.

5. just think the concept of a hardtop is for a 26 foot express sportfisherman.

may love it when i check it out but the curtains are probably a real pain in the *** too... cleaning, storage, etc...

Fishmaster,

I think no.'s 1-3 are really good concerns. But I tell you what, that top will be sweet, and looks awesome. You just can't beat the rod storage on a hard top, up out of the way. Fixed lighting for a small dome light and an aft spreader light.

Top heavy maybe??

I don't go under any low bridges

I Fluke all the time!! This will be no more in the way the the Bimi to I have now, and thats not in the way at all!

The only problem would be the windshelid. But I bet I can figure a way to mod. it to work ;D

Bring it on baby!! I WANT IT BAD!!

MJ,

Most all of the hardtop boats Iv'e seen have a clear plastic curtain connecting the top of the windshield to the underside of the top.

The guy emailed me back, he said that the welding it needs is on the right top rear, you can see a temp plate in the pic.

I also asked him twice now what are the demisions for shipping, I will arrange all shiping if I buy it. He will not respond to this??

can you say ROAD TRIP

well that sounds great!! Just need to figure out how to get it to FL??
I have told the guy I will arrange all the shipping and everything, but he just don't want to answer me with anything to do about shipping.

I will try one more time and see what happens?? We could always take your truck for the 1500 milke run, Much better gas then mine, just no sleeping room in that tonker toy!
