Hey all!

Check out this '86 on ebay. It would be nice to see another V8 stern drive out there...The only drawback, she's got an OMC sterndrive (looks like a 260hp). Damn shame..... :( Anyway, if anyone is interested here's the link:

I love it: WELLCRAFT Cuddy Cabin......Similar to Bayliner
No, my friend, you are talking about 2 completely different boats.

Hey Paradis

Those people at the Boat Angel really know their boats eh? I agree, not a good comparison. Also, do you see 400 ponies in that stock looking small block...I think not.

Anyway I just looked at the bids, it's at 700 bucks, nice deal. Yoink out the OMC, fill the transom and go Mercruiser or, much to the delight of some members around here...a bracket and OB!

Happy Motoring :o

Looks like it is in nice shape with a servicable trailer. A newer depth sounder and bimini. Not a bad deal even if you have to repower assuming there are no soft spots in the transom or floor.

Skools Out: .....Let me get this straight....you can buy a conversion kit and replace an old OMC drive with a volvo lower unit?.....How about the engine? What kind of engine did OMC have?

I've seen so many nice used boatd for sale and then I see that it has an OMC drive......darn! I would have been interested if it did'nt have that drive.
