haysite plastic

Has anyone ever used Haysite plastic for support on the fuel tanks. a marine surveyor suggested this material.

Looked at website, I guess you mean that plastic foam core sheeting?

I thought of getting rid of foam and supporting tank and draining the compartment to the bilge...

I poured foam and figure it will last 25 years like the first tank, more if I keep the salt water out...

Haysite is either a molded or sheet plastic material. Would not work for bedding IMHO.
