Wonder if it was a conversion? Never seen nor can I find ANY info on there ever being a 21 SCARAB with an outboard. Most got the 350 with many getting the 3.7L 4 cylinder. And the 22 seemed to mostly have the 3.0L or 4.3L V6. Wonder how a 225 EVINRUDE would push one?

Look8ng for a different boat right now, a sundance b20. The 19 carolina skiff bears me up WAY to much for my liking. Need something with some v to cut the chop, but flat aft to float shallow.

The skiff will beat your brains out in any kind of chop. If I were to do it over again on a shallow water boat I'd do a mako 19 or old aquasport 19-6.

We had a 19 Mako. Not a good boat in a 2ft+ chop in the bay with two people onboard 20-25mph tops. Very wet boat. The transom was very low and wide. If you don't pay attention you swamp the boat in seconds.

ditto sunny, i got rid of a 19 mako for the very same reasons. almost capsized it one day in the gulf with 4 divers hanging on the swim ladder. very low transom.
