Caught this one 8 miles off the beach live baiting for king mackrel!!

8 miles out down here in spots, and you can get out and stand up in the water and touch bottom, 8 miles out up there and you get that gem.

Believe it or not, our paper reported a guy caught a mahi from the jetty at Manasquan, NJ. That's crazy...

They do catch an odd one or two on Fluking party boats every summer. They hang under the boat and hit a bait on the way up.

All mine here were outside of 15 miles...20 fathom curve.
