Went down to Ocean City over mothers day weekend. Fished 2 days about 4 hrs each day. (When the wind wasn't blowing over 20knts) Caught 5 Flounder(2 keepers) and a ton of big blues. Here is a picture of the 20" flounder and one of the smaller blues we caught.

Sweet report Bobby, you were right in the midst of a bunch of us. We've got many members here on the shore ;)

Nice fish, thanks for sharing.

Is that a 112 on the back of your boat. Kinda of a weird HP. I thought they usually ended with a even zero or a 5.

Johhnyrudes had a 112 and a 88 special. They were essentially the 90 and 116 but with no oil injection, premix all the way. Very reliable motors.

Its a 1995 model 112 special, same motor as the 115

As long as you cut out the lateral vein very soon after catching them they taste very good, but if you put them on ice and wait until the end of the day they dont taste as good.

Nice going!

I rather have the flounder, but smoked blue is very good.

I fillet the blues as soon as they enter my territory ,;D ;D *ten seconds later the carcasses are still moving on they way to crabville :o :o

I f you want them real tasty and don't have the time or desire to smoke them, fillet quickly like you guys say and when you get home, squeeze some lime juice on the fillets and pat the juice all around with your hand, turn them over and do the same. Take them out of the juice after no more than 3-4 minutes and pat dry with a paper towel and cook them any way you want, you will not believe they are blues you are eating.
