Yeah, I'm around the house doing paperwork today. Dreading heading back out in it tomorrow. We have about 40 post holes to dig and posts to set.

I got home around 12 it was 98 and fell asleep in the chair in front of the computer with AC blowing on me.
Wife woke me up about 2:30 to go to Sams and get stuff. Got a shower and headed out, the car's outside temp read 98.
Less than a 1/2 mile from the house we ran into a rain storm, the outside temp was 79 all the way to Sams and back.
Pulled up in the driveway it was up to 98 and no raindrops on the dirt at the house.

Bourbon ice and water is what I've had since.

Probably going out to the north end of Wassaw tomorrow Tsubaki.

I'll be the nekkid guy floating off the stern rode of a Wellcraft on a raft with a cold one in my hand.

Figured I'd warn ya.

We got a 112° heat index for this afternoon, right now it's only 104° at 93° and a 1mph north wind.
Low tide is around 4:30, the shrimp ought to be boiled by then.
Depending on how much bourbon I consume by then I might go throw the net.
Being I failed to install a hangover yesterday.

We went to Wassaw. Only boat there for 3-4 hours. Was hot as hell, but the water was nice. Very light chop heading out, though it picked up a little after the tide change. Gonna go fire up the grill and have a few coldies.
