My wife can't join because she can't handle boats anymore, gets seasick and then feels dizzy afterwards. Maybe the kids would be interested.

Rob, when are you returning? Aug is a pretty hot month, so really there's no problem if we push it back a week here or there. As long as we don't hit Sept and the kids going back to school we should be good to go. What dates are you available in Aug?

We usually anchor on the north side of the pier and are 50 yards off shore..... my son was up sunday and said it was the most crowded he ever seen it.

If I can get my engine back together in time I'll be there. Impeller was bad, had to change it. Just got the new one yesterday evening, so it's in now, but need to put it back together.

9.8 Kicker is assembled, running sweetly and good to go. Baring snags, 200 will be done today, so yes, looks like all is A-OK for Sat.

Update. 200 is running like a champ. Thought everything was good to go. ..
It's not, boat is not ready so no, I will not be there. I'll probably be there the following weekend, but this one is a bust. .. Mad, disappointed and generally upset right now and really, I don't want to talk about it.

Mechanically it's fine. Both engines are in great running condition. There are a few wiring issues I was working on. The main reason is my doc advised against the outing. My heart went into A-Fib again. I'll probably be in the hospital by Thurs for a cardiovert. If it doesn't hold then my next visit will probably be for heart surgery to ablate the nerves causing the problem. Doesn't matter... water under the bridge now...

We had a great time seeing the regular crew. The weather was great and the scenery was even better. Saw a few other v's loitering about but they weren't from the forum. Better luck next time Destroyer. Pretty soon we'll have to start a new thread "101 excuses of Destroyer". I could go on and bust your chops more but it's really not worth my time. I'd much rather DO something with my V than write abut it.

Last time we met a non-member V-owner at the filling station adjacent to where we had breakfast. You never know.
