I've never dealt with either, but the pricing is decent. I'm interested in hearing some more info on them. I'll be needing a couple of outboards in the near future.

I bought used outboard from ARG Marine, Fla...... very good.

Call, ask for Victor, and tell him what you need. Counter offer vs the listed price.

Try this guy, located in Tampa: Franzen Marine... Give him a call first and see what he has v.s. the ebay site. I've spoken to him before, those on the ebay site are his top notch used motors that he has put money into.

Really ? I've found the Hull Truth web site frequented by large # of experienced boaters. Generally, feedback comes in from across the country, as compared to limited, regional type sites.

I've pulled some useful data from Hull Truth input.

The outboard company referenced in this topic has been source of many internet conversations.

I try to stay away as well. To many armchair experts telling you that you need an F-350 with a 7.3L to haul a jon boat, or the only good engine is a 4 stroke YAMAHA, and so on and son. WAY to many OPINIONS over there, and not enough facts for my taste.

I do tend to agree with you but you are too kind.
There are a bunch of jackasses there that ruin the site for their own pleasure.
Strange how it has the commercial following it does.

The little bit I've been on there seems like there's 3 types of people: Those who don't know a damn thing and are just trying to learn something, those who act like they know every damn thing and like to berate them and everyone else, and everyone else. If they would kick out the azz holes it would be a good site with some good information.

A lot of people don't really know how great a group we have here.
