Man - if you live right there, I've got some serious canal envy. The boat looks great and I like that taller top - I need to replace mine and I'm thinking about doing that. Does it give you much trouble in the wind, particularly when you're trying to troll slow?

No problems at all with trolling with top up. Best investment I made on it. I'm going to be down aft curtains next with a roll up center

NICE LOOKING V!!
The top looks great. If I was closer I would love to look at it to get some ideas.
The top I made for my V was my first try and it came out ok but after doing it I saw where I could have improved on it.

looking good... I saw the "before" on Sunrise Blvd. But you're gonna wish you had a zipper window in that top.
You're in Silver Bay in TR now? That's a long haul in either direction to open ocean.

Simply beautiful. I love the way you handled the rod rack problem. One suggestion. Get a length of surgical tubing about 12" long. Cut a slit hole in one end and slip it over the gaff and down the shaft, and put the other end over the point so that no one accidentally injures themselves.

Thanks guys for all the positive feedback!! Skunkboat when it gets hot I just open the middle window and the breeze comes right in. Yes in in silverton right now_ about an hour ride to either inket- v does great on gas tho- went out to the reef and back just about a 1/4 tank- destroyer thanks man- still want to get the finish washers on there- I used PCV sheets to cover the holes up- great idea with the gaff- there is just a cheap cover on there now
