finally got above 40 today, so i had to go try. was going to take the V, but nobody would go with me, so i went down to mexico beach to see if i could find a whiting or two, maybe a resident pompano. Nothing, not even a nibble. still good to get out. good thing was , i was the only one on the beach

sorry D, spent my mad money on the new motor. tell you what, you get yourself here and i'll pay for the boat gas.

got above 60 and not a breath of wind. so what the heck, loaded up by myself and went out , caught some croakers, pinfish and small black snapper, but nothing big enough to keep. really just wanted to run the motor.
85 miles on the odometer, 40.6 on the hourmeter and 22.9 gallons burned. figures now that non e is $2.37 a gallon
