Removed and installed new stronger cross bars at better angle and re installed.

Now using the the outrodders, the fishing poles stick straight out, perpendicular to the boat so:
A. The rod action is fully used for trolling......especially to get the proper spoon action.
B. The rods are less likely to get pulled out even though I use bungies.

With the plastic gunnel side rod holder panels, the actual fishing rod holders on top cant be turned to angle better. Reason - the panels below don't allow enough space.

So, the solution is to pull the rod holder, break out the cross bar at the bottom, drill new holes, and run a new stainless steel screw with nut to form the new cross bar.

Then the outrodders with trolling rods that have " lock into place " slots at the bottom lock in at the new angle, which now positions the rod more perpendicular, or straight out from the boat.

The way it was previously, the rods angled so far back, the rods looked ready to fly out of the holders !! Was not good.
