Took the wife out riding yesterday up the Chowan river. Rode up towards Winton and hung out for awhile, all was calm with wind blowing alittle. We had planned to meet our daughter and family at their new home at Arrowhead Beach. So we cranked up and headed up towards the sound. We broke past Holiday Island and the waves went from a little chop to 4 ft. swells! I throttled back and trimmed up a little so as not to stuff the bow. Plowed right through it, I was really surprised how well it performed. The Boneshaker got us to Arrowhead and back safely, had a great cookout with burgers and homemade stuffed jalapeno poppers! Love my old boat!

Sweet!

I recently picked up a 19 Carolina Skiff, which I know is apples and oranges to the V20, but I never knew a 4 inch chop could be so bad.

These boats are awesome.

When we were in the Keys this past summer we got caught in a thunderstorm, seas went from near calm to 4-5 feet in a few minutes. Trimmed the motor down and the V plowed right through with no problems.

Dry?...no.

Fast?...no.

Safe?...yes.
